Axioo T7200

Set VGA Shared memory on Axioo T7200?
I have Axioo T7200 with onboard VGA 'Mobile Intel(r) 945GM/GU Express Chipset Family'. But it run so heavy and slow when performing 'Sach Marine Screensaver'!!! (how about PES / NFS? getting hang i think). I check the properties on XP and it said 'Memory Size : 224 MB' , 'Maximum Graphics Memory : 224 MB' but when I cek on BIOS it said 'Pre-allocated for Internal VGA : 8 MB' and it just an information and cannot be changed. Which one is the truth? 8 / 224 MB that has been allocated? And how to adjust the memory. thank you very much.

Intel 945G chipset has the GMA 950 graphics. When it functions on DVMT (Dynamic Video Memory Technology), 8Mb is the initial fixed allocation. Then it dynamically shares up to 224Mb memory, depending on the demand of the application. If your laptop has no manual option in BIOS to allocate shared memory, you are stuck with DVMT. GMA 950 has no hardware vertex shader. Even if it can share 224Mb memory, it will still be miserable in games that are rich in graphics detail.
